The Big Hurt is getting big props.
Coupeville High School junior Nick Streubel is in the stretch run of the boys’ basketball season, but it’s his football skills that have all the talent scouts drooling.
The 6-foot-4, 280-pound Wolf just landed a nice write-up at Northwest Elite Index, which gushes about his blocking skills (both pass and run), with some quotes from Nicholas and CHS football guru Tony Maggio.
The writer also finds time to needle the Cascade Conference for its cowardly move to deny Streubel and teammates like Caleb Valko and Jake Tumblin the chance to earn All-Conference honors this past season.
