Madison Tisa McPhee is fast, fast, fast — regardless of the surface.
The Coupeville High School senior, who is counting down the days until she starts her final season of whipping foes and taking names as a hurdler and sprinter for the Wolves, also dabbles quite a bit in the equine arts.
Astride her horse, Chloe, on Sunday morning, Tisa McPhee (and partner) shattered the Snohomish County Western Games Association record in Intermediate barrel riding. The duo covered the course in 14.9 seconds, obliterating the previous mark of 15.1.
“I LOVE CHLOE!!,” screamed Tisa McPhee afterwards on Facebook, to which her horse responded, “Of course you do … I’m awesome.”
