Raising money for a good cause (funding field trips for Coupeville students) while returning to their schoolyard roots, Central Whidbey adults returned to the kickball field earlier this month.

The event, put together by Mimi Johnson, was the Coupeville Co-Ed Adult Benefit Kickball Tournament and action was hoppin’ at Rhododendron Park all day.

From reaction on Facebook later that night, it appears aspirin and nice, warm baths ruled the night for many of the contestants afterwards.
