At that exact moment, Coupeville High School senior Austin Fields will step up and tee off at the Lake Spanaway Golf Course, kicking off his third and final state golf tournament.
But keep the glass handy.
Because at 12:09 PM lil’ sis Christine, a Wolf sophomore, will raise her driver above her head, (possibly) scream “There can only be one!!” and let blast with the first shot of her second go-around at the Big Dance.
After that, it’s all about the birdies. May they rain down for the Lone Wolves.
