Mad Dawg is still kickin’ butt and takin’ names.
With her final high school track season having ended and her shiny state meet medals tucked away, Coupeville High School senior Madison Tisa McPhee has returned to the world of horses and picked up right where she left off.
Competing in Langley Saturday, Tisa McPhee (and her equine friend) shattered a show record in the “three jump scurry” and punched their tickets to Nationals in Blackfoot, Idaho July 7-13.
The duo ran the event — which consists of going over three jumps, turning and barreling and running back over the same three jumps — in 8.6 seconds. The old mark was 9.5.
