In my day-to-day restaurant job, there is a dog who I continually sneak treats to.
Her name is Sitka, and she is … The World’s Most Talented Dog.
My procuring of “Not Squirrel Food!!” may drive Sitka’s owner a bit batty at times, but hey, how am I supposed to look into those big eyes and say no? Sorry. Tough. Can’t happen.
Wednesday night, however, Sitka went on walkabout, getting away from a caretaker while her owner was out of town. She hit the road in the vicinity of NE Summit Loop, which is off of Pennington.
If you live in that area, or anywhere nearby, keep an eye out for her. If you get a chance, grab her and hold on to her.
Than feed her some chicken or tuna. Fancy dogs need fancy treats.
And, if you find her, you’ll get some fancy treats as well. Be the one to retrieve her and I’ll buy you a dinner for two at Christopher’s on Whidbey.
Yeah, see, now you’re going to start looking!!
P.S. — If you find her, please contact me at (360) 678-5650 or Kelsey Simmons at (360) 708-3253.

Nice!
