With tournament trophies already in hand, the highly-skilled softball players from Central Whidbey Little League are now preparing for All-Star competition.
As they do so, ace clicker Patrick Kelley haunts the diamond in pursuit of photos of the future Wolf stars.

Be the next Brian Norris.
That’s the goal for this year’s Central Whidbey Little League All-Stars, as they follow in the proud tradition of the 2010 state champs headlined by Norris, Ben Etzell, Korbin Korzan and most of the current Coupeville High School baseball stars.
They may not win a title (but, hey, why not?), but they do get to play on, shagging fly balls and dreaming big.

We’re going back to a time. A time long ago. A place called the mid-2000’s.
OK, not quite the awe-inspiring trip you might have expected.
Still, thanks to the wonders of photos found lost on a camera by ace photo whiz Shelli Trumbull, you do get to see current Coupeville High School baseball players back before they could even think about growing facial hair.
So, there’s that.
