And how would you beat her?
With a stick. While she slept.
But on a horse? That woman is unbeatable.
Yep, 13 years later, “A Knight’s Tale” is still the best (RIP Heath Ledger), and, with a few words tweaked, one of its best quotes fits Coupeville’s own conquering warrior, Madison Tisa McPhee.
The Wolf grad and former medal-winning track sensation is off at college and well on her way to becoming an EMT these days, but she still finds time to do a little hurdling.
Most times, it’s on her horse, where she continues to whip up on the competition while riding in various western games.
Competing this week at the 49th O-Mok-See National Championships in Wyoming, Tisa McPhee has placed in six events, winning her division in Western Jumping.
The prestigious event, put on by the National Saddle Clubs Association, runs July 19-25.
