New season, same old domination on the wrestling mat.

Former Coupeville supernova Izzy LeVine whipped up on everyone in sight Saturday at the Arizona Women’s Cup, winning all five of her matches en route to a title.

Competing at Poston Butte High School in San Tan Valley, the Casteel junior helped spark her squad to a 3rd place finish in the team standings.

The Colts finished ahead of 29 other teams despite having just six grapplers on site, thanks to LeVine and three of her teammates medaling.

While much of her wrestling success has come after a family move to Arizona, the youngest of Sean and Joline’s three daughters already showed signs of growing into a superstar while the family lived on Whidbey.

Her dad and older sisters Micky and Jae are all Coupeville Sports Hall o’ Fame inductees.

The Arizona Women’s Cup officially kicked off the high school season, though Izzy has been hard at work almost year-round, as she terrorizes foes on the mat both in her Casteel uniform and as a free-lancer.

Wherever there is a wrestling mat, there you will find her — beatin’ the crud out of her rivals.

Former Coupeville supernova Izzy LeVine, who lives in Arizona with the parental figures these days, continues to tear up the wrestling world.

This lil’ sis of Coupeville Sports Hall o’ Famers Micky and Jae LeVine, the former Wolf was busy in Vegas recently at the 2024 edition of Freakshow.

Izzy, who is grappling with the Stampede Wrestling Club, earned 2nd place in the Girls 18U Elite division.

The youngest LeVine went 7-3 on the weekend with five pins.

When not chasing mat glory, she attends Casteel High School in Queen Creek, Arizona.

Ground and pound.

Whether on the mat or the sand, former Coupeville supernova Izzy LeVine continues to shred foes in the world of wrestling.

The younger sis of Micky and Jae was at the heartbeat of the sport in Fargo for the US Marine Corps Nationals, where she went 2-2 against top-level competition.

LeVine opened by crunching a rival from North Carolina 11-0, before winning a 6-5 thriller against a North Dakota girl who is ranked #10 in the nation.

Close losses to grapplers from Indiana and Ohio prevented the Arizona-based former Wolf from placing, but she immediately rebounded.

Transitioning to a new surface at the Beach Nationals, she captured a bronze medal to cap her wild week.

“We are very proud of all her hard work!” said dad Sean.

Izzy, who grew up in Coupeville as her older siblings starred on CHS soccer, tennis, softball, volleyball, and basketball teams, currently attends Casteel High School in Chandler Heights, Arizona.

She’s grapplin’ across the USA.

Former Coupeville supernova Izzy LeVine, who lives in Arizona these days, continues to pursue excellence on the wrestling mat.

The Casteel High School sophomore’s latest venture was a performance this past weekend in the girls’ high school showcase division at the 2024 US Open Championships in Las Vegas.

LeVine, who grew up on Whidbey as the youngest of Sean and Joline’s three mega-talented daughters, went 2-2 in the 135-pound weight class against some of the best competition in the country.

She entered as the #13 seed (out of 30 grapplers) and knocked off the current Utah state champion (6-0) and a wrestler from Colorado (12-2), while narrowly falling short against competitors from Michigan and California.

To be in the field, a wrestler had to have placed in their state tourney, as LeVine did, or be an All-American.

Micky and Jae’s lil’ sis is “looking forward to working toward qualifying again for next year!” according to her PR man, who doubles as her father.

Not Coupeville, maybe, but closer.

Former Wolf Izzy LeVine, who now attends school in Arizona, was back in Washington state this weekend, competing at the US Marine Corps Women’s National Championships wrestling tourney in Spokane.

While there, the youngest member of the LeVine clan split four matches, winning two and losing two while missing the quarterfinals by just a single match.

And she’ll be back.

“She gained some awesome national experience and will still be able to compete in U17 again here next year!” said dad Sean LeVine.

Izzy, currently a sophomore at Casteel High School in Chandler Heights, is the younger sister of Coupeville Sports Hall o’ Famers Micky and Jae LeVine.

During her Cow Town days, she used to give me rocks at Jae’s softball games, while now she has grown up to rock fools on the wrestling mat.
