Sebastian Davis is on top of the world.
The Coupeville High School freshman was the last man standing after Death Rumble ’12, Coupeville High School’s inter-squad slug-fest to decide who would claim its two singles spots for this weekend’s district tournament.
Having knocked off junior Brian Norris Thursday, Davis will be the top-seeded Wolf when Coupeville faces off with Friday Harbor, South Whidbey, Lummi Island and Meridian Saturday, Oct. 13 in Langley.
Norris will join him there, as will the doubles duos of Aaron Curtin and Nathan Lamb — Coupeville’s top two singles players during the regular season — and Ben Wehrman and Ben Etzell.
