Wolves!!
One week in.
Both Coupeville High School basketball squads wrapped up their first installment of practices Saturday, with players giving up a two-hour plus chunk of their free day to devote to bettering their hoops skills.
Actual games don’t kick in until the end of the month, when the Wolf girls’ hit the road Thursday, Nov. 29 for a trip to Cedar Park Christian. That game will be the first of five straight road games for the squad, which doesn’t debut at home until Dec. 14.
The Wolf boys kick off their season Saturday, Dec. 1 at home against Blaine. They open with five of their first seven games at home, virtually the opposite of the girls’ squad.
The pictures above were all snapped by basketball mom/insurance ace/sports photography whiz Shelli Trumbull, who will haunt the gym for the next three months (as long as we all keep crackin’ the whip).
