OK, let’s make this really easy.
As you debate who to root for tonight as Coupeville invades Langley to play South Whidbey in a loser-out boys’ basketball district playoff game (7 PM tip-off), there are pros and cons on both sides.
No, wait, actually the only con is on the South Whidbey side. That would be the Langley mayor, currently doing 15 days in the pokey after falsifying public documents.
Coupeville — our mayor obeys the law.

Seeing as how Coupeville took 2 of 3 from SW in both baseball and softball this spring, Wolf golfer Austin Fields was medalist 5 times while playing with SW and the Falcons couldn’t catch Makana Stone or Madison Tisa McPhee in track, I guess you can aim for next school year.
