Left to right, Austin, Christine and Mike Fields. Their family business: thumping you on the golf course.
You don’t beat the Wolves in golf. You just don’t.
We’re three matches in to a new season and it’s three wins for the Fabulous Fields Family.
Following hot on the footsteps of older brother Austin (2-for-2 this year) Coupeville High School sophomore Christine Fields tore up the course at Useless Bay Golf and Country Club Tuesday afternoon.
Playing nine holes and using modified Stableford scoring, Fields rang up a 28 — way, way, way out in front of the best South Whidbey and Lakewood could offer.
While both those schools have full teams, they offered little resistance to the Lone Wolf. Chelsea Schultz was the runner-up with a 22, helping the host Falcons beat the Cougars in team scoring.
