Coupeville High School’s baseball squad celebrated Spring Break the old-fashioned way, with a long bus trip to Duvall Monday for a doubleheader, with one of the games going much, much better than the other.
The day began with coach Willie Smith, already in full uniform, getting his early-morning caffeine fix at Prairie Center, and it ended with the Wolves having taken one of two from the league leaders, who had entered the day unbeaten in Cascade Conference play.
