He still hasn’t lost in a regular match.
Running his streak to five, Coupeville High School senior golfer Austin Fields fired a 50 over 10 holes Monday to claim co-medalist honors at a three-team match in Langley.
It was the first time this season the Lone Wolf had shared the medalist honors, but keeps his perfect record intact.
South Whidbey beat Lakewood 270-303 in the team battle. With only one player, Coupeville doesn’t worry about that part of the equation.
Fields has two regular-season matches, and the possibility of two tournament appearances, left before postseason play begins.
Younger sister Christine, a sophomore, has four matches left before the duo tee off at the Cascade Conference tournament May 6.
