Now this you love to see.
Gavin O’Keefe is a basketball junkie, a hoops player through and through, and one of the most explosive players Coupeville High School has on its roster.
Seeing him hobble around on crutches for 98.4% of his junior season after busting his leg in the second game of the 2012-2013 season was dispiriting.
You hate to see anyone miss a considerable chunk of time, but it’s worse when it’s a player who lives and breathes their sport and is primed for a breakout year.
So it’s great to see young Mr. O’Keefe back on the floor and running with his Wolf teammates in an off-season league.
The crutches are gone, Gavin is flying to the hoop and next season looks just that much brighter.
