The Coupeville High School football squad, led by man mountain lineman Nick “The Big Hurt” Streubel, quicksilver running back Jake “Born to Run” Tumblin and the matinee idol who makes fans shriek like girls at a One Direction concert, quarterback Gunnar Langvold, will be layin’ down the smack that day.
Their opponent for the 11 AM scrimmage will be Lakeside, a 3A school.
The Wolves, who feature an electric group of runners working behind a big, bad line led by Streuble, Carson Risner and Aaron Wright, pounded on 3A Oak Harbor and 2A Sedro Woolley in an earlier scrimmage.
