No more South Whidbey until districts.
After playing the Cascade Conference powerhouse for three of its first four matches, the Coupeville High School boys’ tennis team is probably looking forward to seeing someone different across the net.
The Wolves were scrappy in all of their matches, but after a 4-1 loss to the visiting Falcons Wednesday, Sept. 25, they sit at 0-4 heading into a home match Friday, Oct. 4 with Overlake.
With rain having bumped the match one time and then threatening the rescheduled date and time, Coupeville and South Whidbey played pro sets in their final regular season match, instead of best two of three sets.

1st Singles — Dalton Martin lost to Charley Stelling 8-1
1st Doubles — Aaron Curtin/Ben Etzell beat Campbell Albertson/Jonathan Petersen 8-5
2nd Doubles — Brian Norris/Kyle Bodamer lost to Trent Fallon/Beau Blakey 8-3
3rd Doubles — Jason Knoll/Cameron Boyd lost to Nathan Riley/Jacob Nelson 8-0
