Three Coupeville High School volleyball players netted Honorable Mention nods when Cascade Conference coaches picked their top players recently.
Seniors Amanda Fabrizi and Breeanna Messner and junior Hailey Hammer each received certificates Friday night during the team’s season-ending banquet.
They all earned multiple awards as well, with Fabrizi (Best Defense), Messner (Coaches Award, Captain) and Hammer (Best Offense, Captain) leading off the night’s winners.
Joining them were sophomore Sydney Autio (Most Improved), junior Madeline Strasburg (Most Inspirational) and senior Megan Oakes (Captain).
Wolf seniors Fabrizi, Oakes, Messner, Sydney Aparicio and Haley Sherman played all four seasons.
JV awards were handed out to Lauren Grove (Most Improved), Jae LeVine (Best Defense), Emily Coulter (Best Defense), Miranda Engle (Best Offense, Most Inspirational), McKenzie Bailey (Best Offense) and Tiffany Briscoe (Coaches Award).
