Gabriella Gebhard and Walker (Set’r Ridge’s Legend in the Making).

“What a career!”

Stephanie Gebhard has had a front row seat as daughter Gabriella has taken the dog show world by storm over the past several years.

Now, one section of that run is coming to a close for the Coupeville High School senior, as she ages out of the world of Juniors dog handlers.

Competing at Royal Canin 2024 with Everest (Set’r Ridge’s Climbing to the Top).

But, as she makes the transition, Gabriella Gebhard (and her pooches) continue to rake in the awards and qualify for the big shows.

The CHS student, who is ranked #3 in Sporting Juniors across the USA in 2024, participated in the recent Royal Canin show in Orlando.

Gebhard is slated to show at Westminster — the premium event in the dog show world — in February at Madison Square Garden and has qualified for Royal Canin 2025 and Westminster 2026.

She did all that by going on a ribbon-winning tear during her final five weeks on the road as a Juniors competitor, assuring her a chance to return to her domain for visits even after aging out.

On point, always.

Gabriella Gebhard is wrapping up a stellar career as a Junior Handler.

It’s been a busy, and successful stretch of time for Gabriella Gebhard.

The Coupeville High School senior celebrated her 18th birthday Nov. 7, which also meant she aged out of being a Junior Handler in the dog show world.

With five weekends between the start of a new show year to her cake day, Gebhard and her faithful pooch, Walker (Set’r Ridge’s Legend in the Making), had to go hard to qualify for the two biggest events on the schedule.

That would be Royal Canin, held in Orlando Dec. 12-14, and the Westminster Dog Show, set for Madison Square Garden Feb. 10-11.

Needing to score big, Gebhard did just that, piling up eight Best Juniors, eight class wins, and four Reserve Best Juniors.

She’s currently the top-ranked English Setter Junior Handler, as well as being the #3 Sporting Junior Handler and the #11 All-Breed Junior Handler.

All the ribbons belong to them.

Keeping cool in the heat of the spotlight.

Only the passage of time can stop her.

Coupeville High School senior Gabriella Gebhard, one of the top dog showers in the country, will age out of juniors’ competition when she turns 18 this November.

Though even then, she’ll get a small reprieve, being allowed to compete in shows she has already qualified for while within the age limit.

Gebhard, who was tabbed as Best Junior at the Rainier Sporting Dog Show in August, shows multiple pooches, all of them near the top of their respective classes.

She’s scheduled to compete at the prestigious AKC National Championships presented by Royal Canin in Orlando in December.

After that, Gebhard returns to the biggest show of them all, the Westminster Dog Show, held at Madison Square Garden in New York next February.

As of the end of July, the Wolf student/athlete is the top-ranked English Setter junior handler in the country, while being #2 in Sporting Juniors and #8 in All-Breed Handlers.

They’re coming for all your trophies.

All of them, I said.

Coupeville High School junior Gabriella Gebhard and her faithful pooches are once again dominating the ultra-competitive dog show world.

Working with several canine companions, but most often her rock star — Walker (Set’r Ridge’s Legend in the Making) — she’s won 18 Best Juniors titles since 2022.

“This is my doggo. He doesn’t lose. End of story.”

The latest triumph came in Monroe last weekend, where Gebhard held off 55 competitors to claim top honors.

She has also met the Masters level in Juniors and is a few short weeks away from traveling to Florida for a massive show.

That’s the Royal Canin AKC National Championships, which run Dec. 13-16 in Orlando.

Gebhard, who has been showing for many years, also works with Andy Linton, a top-level professional handler.

Everything on point.

One month until the show of shows.

Coupeville High School sophomore Gabriella Gebhard treks to New York in early May, accompanied by her faithful pooch companion, Walker (Set’r Ridge’s Legend in the Making).

Their destination is the 147th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, the premier event on the yearly calendar.

Gebhard and Walker are scheduled to show May 9.

“Who’s a champion? You are!”

The duo, who have also qualified for the AKC National Championship presented by Royal Canin, are two wins from qualifying for next year’s Westminster show as well.

Gebhard recently picked up her fifth Best Junior award of the year at the Peninsula Fanciers Club Dog Show in Bremerton and has until late September to notch wins #6 and #7.

When she’s not showing, the Coupeville ace is gathering experience by working for Andy Linton, a Westminster Best in Show winner who is one of the country’s top handlers.

Gebhard prepares and grooms Linton’s dogs before he shows them.
