The Coupeville High School senior, who will graduate later this year with his A.A. degree already in hand, plans to enroll at Whitworth University in Spokane in the fall.
Once there, the plan is for him to join a football program that is coming off a 7-3 season.
A NCAA Division III school, Whitworth plays in the nine-team Northwest Conference, which includes Pacific Lutheran University, Willamette University and the University of Puget Sound.
Maggio played both ways for the Wolves, anchoring the offensive line and rumbling as a nose guard on defense for Coupeville.
