Saturday was a good day for the red and black.
Coupeville High School won three of four basketball games against visiting Mount Vernon Christian (boys varsity, girls JV, boys JV) and almost pulled off the sweep, with the Wolf varsity girls falling by just a bucket.
The most impressive win might have come from the Coupeville JV girls, who held the Hurricanes scoreless for an entire half as they romped to a 25-6 win.
