Want to be a vital part of the future of Coupeville High School boys’ basketball?
If you’re a boy in grades seven or eight, or know one who attends school in Cow Town, now is the time to get them signed up with a SWISH basketball squad that kicks off play Saturday, Jan. 17.
The team, coached by Bob Brown, needs 7-10 players, but currently only has four that are signed up.
This is a chance for hoops players to get in 8-12 games (the team already has a gym reserved for the season) and improve skills in the time leading up to playing high school ball.
Coupeville has a fully-staffed sixth grade team which opened play today.
Getting a 7th/8th grade squad off the ground now would provide a perfect link between that team and the high school.
