Some positive news out of Coupeville, as a former Wolf completes the first leg of her military journey.
From mom Dawnelle Conlisk:
Coupeville High School 2013 grad Mary”Beth” Conlisk graduated from the Air Force Security Forces today. She received her police badge.
It’s a different world and things have really changed.
No family allowed, no leave to come home and visit.
But we can’t get stuck on all of that.
Instead, we’re focusing on the accomplishments of today.
Eight weeks of basic training and 13 weeks of tech school.
She did it, she completed in and she is defending all of us.
She started this journey in October 2019, when life was “normal.”
Receiving letters along the way from Mrs. (Deb) Sherman’s 5th grade class.
She really wanted to come meet this amazing class in her uniform while she was supposed to be home for a month, before heading to her first duty station.
I can’t thank these 5th graders enough for keeping her spirits up. Such an awesome surprise for her.
Today I may not have been able to give her the hug I was dreaming of and taking a gazillion pictures.
But I can still celebrate and let her know we are totally behind her and cheering her on.
Congratulations, Airman Conlisk!
