Coupeville Elementary student Scotlyn Helm wrapped up her inaugural season racing cars with the Washington Quarter Midget Association Saturday and did so with great success.
The speedy racer competed in four races this season, across two different classes, landing on the awards podium three times.
“Couldn’t be more proud of her accomplishments in such a short time,” said rad dad Jerry Helm.
Scotlyn Helm is not done with racing, however, as she will pivot to dirt track racing in November.
