Friday night’s Coupeville High School football game featured a halftime performance from its junior cheerleaders, with current and former Wolf spirit leaders guiding the next generation in a tribute to Dolly Parton.
The field was packed with K-5 students, who had to wait out a long first half but, for once, didn’t deal with any prairie wind or rain at an October game.
Almost like Dolly was looking down and said, “No ma’am, not tonight” to Mother Nature.
