Elton John thought Saturday night was alright for fighting, but Madison McMillan knows it’s alright for socking softballs.
The Coupeville grad, now a sophomore at Edmonds College, is currently playing fall ball for the Tritons diamond squad.
Saturday that meant going yard on Centralia College, one of four pink-clad sluggers to whack a dinger.
After the power explosion was done, the Triton mad mashers posed for a pic which landed on the team’s Instagram page, always a good place for wandering writers to poach from.
McMillan, a member of the Coupeville Sports Hall o’ Fame for her exploits in Cow Town, was an accomplished volleyball, basketball, and softball player for the Wolves.
Back then, she was known to belt softballs in the direction of Prairie Center’s parking lot.
Now?
Different town, different uniform, still the same hard-hitting sensation.
