Madeline Roberts already knows where she’ll be playing softball next year,
The Coupeville High School senior, who still has a season left in the red and black, will sign a letter of intent soon to play for Shoreline Community College.
A slap-hitting leadoff hitter with speed and superb bat control, Roberts can play multiple positions in the infield and outfield and has been a key player for the Wolves.
Also a cheerleader for CHS, she has devoted herself to softball, traveling with Wolf teammate Hailey Hammer to play with a select team during the off-season.
Shoreline, whose mascot is the Dolphin, is coached by E. Bryan Johnson and plays in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges.
Roberts parents are Jay (Jennifer) Roberts and Lisa (Stephen) Roberts-Edlin.
