Jumping into a new season, 15 Coupeville High School girls have made the transition from the fall cheer squad to the winter team.
Led by coach Cheridan Eck, the now much-warmer Wolves (having moved from the frosty football field into the CHS gymnasium for basketball games) have also busted out a lot more dance moves.
While they’re on a temporary vacation right now, with winter break kicking off yesterday with the brief smattering of snow to hit town, the Wolf cheerleaders will return Friday, Jan. 3, when hoops play comes back.
La Conner comes to town that day for a b-ball doubleheader, with the boys tipping off at 5 PM and the girls scheduled for 6:45.
