There’s a new volleyball program on the Island and the people behind it want to meet you.

The Whidbey Volleyball Club, which will be open to players ages 10-18, has two parent/player meetings coming up to answer questions before team tryouts.

The meetings are Nov. 14 at the Coupeville High School gym and Nov. 15 at Oak Harbor High School’s Student Union Building.

Both events kick off at 7 PM.

WVC is a nonprofit organization and a member of the Puget Sound Region of USA Junior Volleyball.

Tryouts are Nov. 20 at Oak Harbor High School (registration starts at 12:30, with tryouts from 1:30-3:30).

The season runs through the spring.

For more info contact Coupeville High School volleyball coach Cory Whitmore at (509) 347-6301 or cwhitmore@coupeville.k12.wa.us or club director Katelyn Posego at (360) 525-5573 or kvposego@gmail.com.
