“You all ready for this? You think you can handle seeing all these photos at once?” (John Fisken photos)

Madeline Strasburg (20) congratulates McKenzie Bailey on the photo essay. “Stay gold, Bailey! Stay gold!”

Strasburg passes on the news to Kacie Kiel (16), Hailey Hammer (26) and Lauren Rose. Celebration ensues.

“You see that, Bailey? Did you?!?!? Right there. I left half the skin off my kneecap … right there!”
Madeline Strasburg is gold.
The Coupeville High School senior, aka Maddie Big Time, excels in high pressure athletic situations and in having her photo snapped.
She may not quite be to the level of McKayla “Million Dollar Arm” Bailey, the one-true Photo Bomb Queen, but then, who is?
But Strasburg is undeniably in the top 1% of photo op lovin’ superstars.
You can see that in the photos above, which come from Tuesday night’s Wolf volleyball match against visiting Bellevue Christian.
What can I say?
Athletes come and go, and there will always be talent on display.
But when Strasburg, Bailey and Co. graduate, taking their ability to produce snappy picture after picture off with them, there will be epic shoes left to fill.
I’m sorry. I can’t talk about this any more. I may cry at the thought of having to write more words to fill the gaping hole left by the loss of sure-thing winner photos.
Don’t mind me. I’ll be in the corner, praying for a freshman or two to step up and seize the mantle. I have high hopes for Luke Merriman … perhaps he will save the day.
Anyway, while I whine on, you can pop over and see more John Fisken photos (and possibly purchase some, which helps fund scholarships for CHS student/athletes) at:
