Rhiannon Ellsworth never stopped learning.
Two years out of Coupeville High School, the former three-sport athlete is hard at work in the nursing field these days, giving back to others.
Having overcome a torn ACL during her high school days, she knows what it takes to overcome illness and injury, which, one would think, probably makes her more compassionate towards her charges.
Of course Rhi has always been an easy-going, super-friendly young woman, so the compassion was likely always there.
During her time as a Wolf, she was a cheerleader for three years, while also playing volleyball and basketball.
A gritty, hard-nosed player, she gave it her all, even when the injury slowed her down for a bit.
It was always nice to see her do well, to see her rewarded for the time, effort and sweat she put in. Now, as she prospers in life after high school, I hope she continues to always find success.
Life is not always easy, and Miss Ellsworth, like many of her friends, has been rocked by unexpected death ripping apart their community recently.
I hope you can find some peace, Rhi, and I hope the days ahead get easier.
Always keep your head up and know that through good times and bad times, your fans have always been impressed with the way you carry yourself.
You are classy, fairly sassy and greatly deserve happiness.
May today, and all your days going forward, be wonderful.
