Coupeville grad Taygin Jump competed on the big stage Friday and Saturday in Brockport, New York, vying at the SUNYAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
The event brought together the best athletes from the State University of New York Athletic Conference, with Jump repping Plattsburgh State.
Now a sophomore with the Cardinals, the former Wolf ace earned entries in both the weight throw and shotput.
Jump finished 15th in the latter and 16th in the former, with throws of 31 feet, eight inches, and 38-02.25.
The oldest of Phil and Christina’s three children is pursuing a degree in Environmental Planning & Management/Geology when she’s not busy with her track and field exploits.
