You’ve heard the stories, now see the reality for yourself.
Coupeville Elementary School, which has housed thousands of students over the decades, is in dire need of replacement.
And we, as a community, have a chance to set a brighter future for the young children of Cow Town.
After meeting monthly over the past year, the Facilities Planning Task Force — of which I am one small cog — has a lot to say on the matter and is ready to share with the community in advance of a possible levy.
District staff and members of that task force will host an open house at the elementary school Tuesday, September 1.
Show up and you can nab a tour of the school, get a chance to pepper the experts with questions, and share your own feedback.
No word on whether snacks will be offered but keep hope alive!
