Coupeville grad Mia Farris, bouncing between positions for a Whatcom College volleyball team battling injuries, compiled some impressive numbers as the Orca spikers split four matches this weekend.
Hosting the Whatcom Crossover Tourney, Farris and Co. beat Pierce 3-1 and Chemeketa 3-0, while taking a pair of 3-1 losses to Walla Walla, one on Friday and one on Saturday.
With the split, the Orcas get to 6-10 on the season.
Farris, a two-time CHS Athlete of the Year winner during her high school days, collected eight kills, six assists, 59 digs, and 10 service aces, accounting for 18 points over the weekend.
On the season, Keaton and Vivian’s lil’ sis has put up 35 kills, 20 assists, 35 aces, 199 digs, two solo blocks, one block assist, and 72.5 points during her sophomore campaign.
