Famous alumni, candy and cookies, and babies — the Coupeville High School press box was a happenin’ place Friday night at the home football finale.
Joel Norris, master of the scoreboard and a man who still deeply misses dancing to “The Wobble” after games, was on the top of his Food Network game with an assortment of tasty desserts.
But the sweetest thing in the box was an appearance by the lil’ daughters of former Wolf greats CJ Smith and Sylvia (Hurlburt) Smith, in town to see family and be seen.
Take a look at the head of hair on one of those sassy prairie princesses!
In related news, Wolf Athletic Director Willie Smith has NOT confirmed the district will be making some extra money by offering press box babysitting services next season.
But he did seem intrigued by the idea.
And hey, I worked at a care center for babies and young children, and my three nephews still have all their limbs after growing up with Uncle David, so I’m kind of qualified.
Just sayin’…
