You might not want to poke Gabe Wynn this morning.
The Coupeville High School junior might be a tad bruised and battered, after spending much of Friday night’s boys basketball game bouncing off of everything sharp he could find in the gym.
At one point, chasing a ball, he blew a hole through his bench, sending chairs and shrieking teammates into the bleachers.
Then, as is his custom, he bounced off of the gym floor a few dozen times.
No one seems to enjoy the taste of the floor quite like Wynn, as least as evidenced by his propensity for crashing to the hardwood.
But wait, it gets better.
In the flip-book of pics above, travelin’ photo man John Fisken catches Wynn at the apex of his powers, going up and over the call of duty in pursuit of that elusive basketball.
As I look at the photos I like to imagine just a hint of R. Kelly starting to sing “I believe I can fly,” followed by Cleveland from Family Guy screaming “No, no, no, nooo!!”
Yep, that works.
