Someone teaches you the game, then you pass it on.
That’s the mantra for most soccer players, one on display Tuesday afternoon on the Coupeville High School practice field.
The current Wolves, most of them wearing snazzy warm-up jackets, took some time out from their own work to impart some bits of wisdom to a group of future CHS booters.
A couple of years ago, sharpshooters like Kalia Littlejohn and Bree Daigneault were on the receiving end of the lessons. Now they’re the ones helping to shape the young women who may one day succeed them.
It’s the soccer version of the circle of life.
