Local legend John Tristao continues to improve, three months after life-saving surgery.
The lead singer of Creedence Clearwater Revisited suffered an aortic aneurysm dissection, but doctors were able to catch it quickly and prevent him for bleeding out.
“Every day is a gift to all of us,” said wife Beth. “He continues to gain more strength daily, but it’s gonna take time.”
With both CCR and his other band, Johnny Bulldog, Tristao spent years donating time and talent to numerous fundraisers near and far, and his many fans have stepped up to help deal with his ongoing hospital bills.
Family friends started a GoFundMe, which we featured here on Coupeville Sports a while back, and I want to drop the link out there one more time.
Anything you can do to help a true stand-up guy is appreciated, by John, his family and his ever-expanding network of fans.
Chip in financially, send a message to the big guy, pass on the link. Every bit helps.
