Mia Littlejohn is not the only Wolf soccer player getting some notice.
Senior CHS goaltender Lauren Grove has been honored by MaxPreps as one of its state players of the week.
The award, which is sponsored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, goes to a male and female athlete from each state on a weekly basis during the pitch season.
Grove, picked during the week of Sept. 26-Oct 2., is being honored for her work in net Sept. 19-25.
That covers her performances during a pair of non-conference games — a 5-1 win over Mount Vernon Christian and a 4-1 victory against North Mason.
