Cross country season is racing towards the finish line.
Coupeville High School harriers have one more regular season meet on the schedule, with a trip to Bellingham this Thursday for the Lake Lap Invite.
After that the Wolves move into the postseason with the Northwest 2B/1B League Championships, districts, and, hopefully, the state meet, which goes down November 7 in Pasco.
As we sit here on October 13, things are shaping up nicely for Elizabeth Bitting’s squad, which currently features the two fastest boys and two of the three quickest girls in the NWL.
