Coupeville grad Teagan Calkins, now a freshman at the University of Colorado Boulder, returned to the softball diamond for fall ball and promptly filled up the stat sheet.
The former Wolf played in 10 games, hitting .483 while collecting 14 hits, including four doubles and two triples for a Buffaloes squad which went 7-3 across September and October.
Colorado won its final six games, including a three-game sweep of Colorado Mesa Saturday in the fall ball finale.
Calkins, a three-sport supernova in her Cow Town days, also racked up nine RBI, eight runs, and five walks — two by being plunked — with a .559 on base percentage, a .759 slugging percentage, and a 1.317 OPS.
She and her new teammates return to the field in March, when they kick off the regular season with a series against the Air Force Academy.
