Stepping up in the fight against cancer, the Coupeville High School softball sluggers wore special jerseys Saturday during their home doubleheader with Onalaska.
Along with romping to a game one win, then coming within a batter of pulling off a stunning comeback in the nightcap, the Wolf diamond queens raised more than $1,200 for WhidbeyHealth.
As the action played out, CHS yearbook editor (and Wolf Mom) Jackie Saia snapped away, capturing the pics seen above and below.

The future is super bright for Coupeville’s 8th graders, who are already big-time contributors to the high school varsity squad.
