Flowers and basketball players were blooming.
Several packs of Coupeville Wolf hoops stars spent part of the weekend playing in Skagit Valley’s 23rd annual Tulip Basketball Tournament
By the time they were done, both squads had played numerous games (the older girls claiming 5th place in a 12-team tourney), but still had time to pose for photos.

I am so proud of our 4th-5th grade basketball team! These girls have been practicing twice a week since October of 2014. Once the SWISH season was over their coach, Lark Gufstason entered them in every tournament possable. The girls have a great start in there future basketball endeavors. I’d like to say “Thank You” to Lark for all his time and patience with this crazy group of girls. It was a great journey!!
Getting an early start will help them a ton. By the time Lark is done with them they will have played 3-4 years before they hit HS. Only way to get experience is to get out and play competitive games.
