And now we’re really rolling.
After a solid week of action, Northwest 2B/1B League schools are fully invested in the fall sports season, with things continuing to rachet up in intensity.
All five Coupeville High School teams play in the coming week, with four of the five having multiple events.
Cross country hosts a home meet Wednesday at Fort Casey, then heads down island Saturday for the Carl Westling Invite at South Whidbey, while Wolf football hosts Ilwaco under Saturday Night Lights.
Meanwhile volleyball hits the road to play South Whidbey Wednesday before hosting Orcas Island Friday, with both CHS soccer teams remaining at home for multiple games.
The Wolf girls host Providence Classical Christian Wednesday and Orcas Friday, while the boys squad welcomes La Conner to town Tuesday and Friday Harbor travels to Mickey Clark Field Thursday.
