From four games to no games, in a hurry.
Mother Nature has spoken, and tonight’s home basketball doubleheader between Coupeville and Sequim is not going down.
“Road conditions from Sequim to Port Townsend are sketchy and they had a two-hour delay because of them this morning,” said Coupeville Athletic Director Willie Smith.
“Temperatures are supposed to drop below freezing again tonight,” he added. “The Sequim AD and I both agree it’s safer to cancel and re-schedule tonight’s games then chance driving buses on icy roads.”
The games have tentatively been moved to Monday, Jan. 30, with start times of 3:30 and 5:15.
