The Class of 2018 boasted a strong class of athletes, including (l to r) Hunter Downes, Nick Etzell, Hunter Smith, William Nelson, Ethan Spark and Cameron Toomey-Stout.

Julian Welling takes Katrina McGranahan for a spin.

Maddy Hilkey was on hand to celebrate Spark’s graduation.

Homecoming King Dylan Hummel snags a photo op with Abby Parker (left) and Kyla Briscoe.

Homecoming Queen Mira Mostafavinassab celebrates graduation with mom Jen.

Toomey-Stout wows the lil’ kids as Wolf seniors walk the hallways at Coupeville Elementary.

New grad Claire Mietus has the full backing of her family as she takes the next step in her life.

Ariah Bepler (left) and Jesse Hester join Parker and Briscoe for Senior Brunch at Camp Casey.

One family, two graduations. Allison Wenzel (high school) gives big sis Rachel (college) a tour of the dock.

We’re playing a little game of catch-up here.

My month-long “vacation” kicked off right after the state track meet, so I missed running any graduation pics for the Coupeville High School Class of 2018.

Well, better late than never.

Sort of like using the headline above, which references Lost, a TV show which debuted way back in 2004 … before this year’s seniors were even in school.

One final run as a pack.

The Coupeville High School Class of 2017, all 71 of them, went out in style Friday night.

After graduating (capping a K-12 run in Cow Town for 19 of them), half the class stayed together for a grad night party in Seattle.

Ever-industrious paparazzi John Fisken was there for it all, and the photos above are courtesy him.

Robin Cedillo: “You want me to watch a 13-minute video?!?! Let me get my toast on first, son.” (John Fisken photo)

The Class of 2017 has officially left its mark.

One of the annual rites of passage for seniors at Coupeville High School is the hand-off of the torch to the junior class, and immortalizing that transfer of power with a video.

Every graduating class thinks their cinematic creation is the best ever made, so I’m sure the ’17ers would get loud ‘n proud right about now if the subject came up.

Take a gander at their well-crafted vid below (and, if you’re a completist, you can track the rest of them down on YouTube in your spare time):

Amanda Neitzel (left) and Megan DePorter know what’s what.

Robyn Myers: “I’m not saying I will. I’m just like, with the last two kids graduating, if I want to turn their rooms into an ’80s video game arcade, I could…”

The giddiness of graduation grows.

Neitzel takes Naika Hallam for a spin.

Of 71 grads this year, the 19 pictured here went K-12 in Cow Town.

They survived a little rain on their parade.

The Coupeville High School Class of 2017 ticked down some of their final moments together Thursday, taking part in the annual senior parade and brunch.

Along for the ride, camera in hand, was photo whiz kid John Fisken, who offers us the pics seen above.

You can’t tell the players without a roster.

Before you head to Coupeville High School’s graduation (Friday, 6 PM in the high school gym), take a gander at the official list of those bound for their diplomas.

The list runs 71 deep, from Allen to Zanardi.
