Still as loud, still as proud, just warmer.

Moving inside from the gridiron to the hardwood allows the Coupeville High School cheer squad to avoid any fog, rain, and chill.

But it still offers the Wolves plenty of opportunities to get the crowd pumped up, as seen in the pics above and below.

Two squads, three or four times the cheering.

With Coupeville High School cheerleaders moving inside for the winter, the Wolves actually have two different teams, with a fair amount of the athletes appearing on both rosters.

Though, regardless of whether they’re on the sideline squad, or the competition squad, or both teams, it’s a given that each Wolf will bring more energy than any rivals they’ll meet.

As CHS coaches Jennifer Morrell and Tara Crouch juggle preparing their cheerleaders for basketball game work, as well as flying high on the blue competition mats, a look at who’s who.

Wolf coaches Tara Crouch (left) and Jennifer Morrell get to head inside for the winter, away from the wind and rain.

They’re heading inside, but first, awards for the work outside.

As the Coupeville High School cheer squad transitions from fall to winter sports, the Wolf spirit leaders took a moment Monday to honor their work on the football sideline.

Alysia Burdge earned the Coaches Award at the season-ending banquet, while Isabella Schooley accepted the Wolf Award.

Jacob Schooley (Most Improved) and Reina Reed (Spirit Award) also went home with hardware, while Makenna Jonker-Chambers and Hayley Thomas were acknowledged for their stellar work as co-captains.

They’re the leaders of the pack.

Coupeville High School cheerleaders are always front and center for Wolf sporting events, and Friday’s Homecoming football game was a prime example.

As they led the cheers and fired up school spirit, numerous photographers caught them in action.

The pics above and below capture a slice of the cheer-tastic action.

So much pink.

Coupeville High School volleyball’s annual breast cancer awareness night, when the spikers raise money for the fight, went down Tuesday.

And appropriately, with the event called Dig Pink Night, virtually everyone in the gym rocked at least a little bit of Barbie’s favorite color.

Snapping pics as things unfolded were CHS yearbook whiz kids Bailey Thule and Alysia Burdge, who deliver the photos seen above and below.
