Wolf volleyball players are hosting car washes the next two Saturdays, with money raised going to help the CHS program.

Get your car nice and shiny before it’s covered in bits and pieces of fireworks.

Coupeville High School volleyball players are hosting a two-day car wash at Ebey Academy Saturday and Sunday.

Money raised goes to help fund Wolf spikers as they get ready to rock La Conner and Co. this fall.

All the info is in the photo above, so, like a Grey Peabody spike hitting the floor, I’ve made an impact and am out of here.

Clean car = spiker support

Let ’em spike the dirt from your vehicle.

Coupeville volleyball players will be armed with brushes and hoses this coming weekend, holding a car wash fundraiser.

The event goes down at Ebey Academy starting at 10 AM — just down the street from the annual Lion’s Club garage sale — and helps the spikers pay for volleyball camps and related activities.

Pro tip — keep an eye out this week, as several of the players have been spotted out in front of Prairie Center Market, pre-selling tickets.

Spike car dirt, spread sweet cash

Banish the dirt, and help a good cause.

The Coupeville High School volleyball team is back at it Saturday, June 22, running a charity car wash to raise money for all things spiker-related.

The soap bubbles fly from 10-2:30 at Ebey Academy, which is located at 140 SE Terry Road, across from the high school and just down from Prairie Center Red Apple Market.

Your donations will benefit one of the most successful sports programs at CHS.

The Wolves are coming off a season in which they finished 11-5, second in the North Sound Conference behind just King’s, which finished 3rd at the 1A state tourney.

Before that, Coupeville won back-to-back Olympic League titles and went to state in 2017.

Party for Bennett!!

Two days until the biggest night of the summer.

People from near and far are expected to pack the Coupeville Rec Hall this Friday, Aug. 19 for an auction fundraiser to help an ailing Wolf hoops star.

Bennett Boyles, 11, finished three weeks of treatment for inoperable tumors on his brain stem and just returned home from Seattle, but he and his family still face a tough road ahead.

Bennett’s teachers at the Ebey Academy have been spearheading fundraisers all summer to help his mom, CHS grad Lucienne Rivera, a single mom of two who had to quit her job to take care of her son.

Friday night the Rec Hall will be jumping to the music of Jacobs Road, with more than 100 items up for auction.

Tickets are $10 and can be bought at the door (the rec hall is at 901 NW Alexander St., across the street from Christopher’s on Whidbey.)

The event, which runs from 6-10 PM, is open to all ages.

Beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be available, with wine and beer offered by donation thanks to Penn Cove Tap Room.
