The Whidbey Island All-Star juniors softball squad returns to action Monday night at the state tourney in Vancouver, playing their third game in as many days.

Jackie Saia is the superwoman of Coupeville athletics.
A teacher and Wolf mom, she also clicks a steady stream of photos for the CHS yearbook, which she oversees.
Plus, she lets me use said photos for free, which makes her a saint.

As the Coupeville High School softball squad rolls through an undefeated season, there have been frequent visits to the diamond by camera-wielding paparazzi.

Cross country is booming in Cow Town.
Year three of the comeback is starting off strongly for Coupeville’s harrier programs, both at the high school and middle school levels.
While the pandemic is preventing CMS runners from competing this school year against rivals from other towns, the young Wolves are still putting in miles and burning up trails in intramural action.

The Coupeville High School softball squad is a perfect 7-0 heading into a home doubleheader Saturday against Darrington, with first pitch set for 1 PM.
Senior Night festivities are set to go down before the start of the first game.
